Monterey Excursion
I recently crossed the border. The metaphorical border, that is, that divides Southern California and Northern California. So far, so good--despite an occasional raised eyebrow when I say I'm from L.A., everyone has been hospitable.
A couple of weekends ago, I drove down to Monterey to visit a friend. Having access to such stunning, new (for me) scenery is just one of the side benefits to living in the Bay Area.
