I spent this morning at the beautiful Descanso Gardens in La Canada/Flintridge, CA. The flowers were stunning, and as a result, it was an ideal day to shoot. Here are some of the best images from my most recent photo excursion.

Loving the Great Outdoors

Here are some more favorite recent photos. I shot most of these images for a recent photography class. I tend to shoot outdoors using natural light and with minimal post production work in Lightroom.

B&W Photography Extravaganza

Here are some additional photos from my most recent class. I primarily shoot landscapes, but my niece Allie recently came from Seattle for a visit, so she gamely let me photograph her as well. For this particular assignment, we were asked to focus on b&w--a format I love.

I can't believe Spring is only a few weeks away. Where has the time gone?!

Here are some new photos from a recent photography class. I love shooting at the beach. The light and scenery are tough to beat! I shot on the beach off of Topanga Canyon then went above Pacific Coast Highway and photographed some of the homes and flowers there.
